Eduardo Camacho

UFO Phenomenon Researcher | Historical Contactee of Chilca | Witness of the First Apunian Generation

Eduardo Camacho is a Peruvian researcher and contactee, considered part of the first generation of people who experienced direct contact with non‑human intelligences in the area of Papa León XIII and Chilca, a historic epicenter of Peruvian contactism. His testimony is fundamental to understanding the origins of the phenomenon in the country.

Beginnings and Awakening (1983)

Before dedicating himself to ufology, Eduardo described himself as a “street kid who played soccer”, without political or religious affiliations. Everything changed in 1983, when he read the book “Apu Galaxia X9.”
He finished the work in a few hours and, that same night, from the rooftop of his home in Lima (near Cerro San Cristóbal), he witnessed two flying saucers emerge from a white cloud, descend, make a movement in the shape of a “J,” emit a “plop” sound, and disappear.

Hours later, his uncle Guillermo Camacho visited him with a friend named Ángel, inviting him to go south, to Papa León XIII (Chilca), to meet a woman who spoke about flying saucers: Maruja Soler.
Eduardo perceived the coincidence as impossible to ignore: the reading, the sighting, and the invitation on the same night. He accepted.

Meeting the Pioneers of Peruvian Contactism

In Papa León XIII he met Maruja Soler, Juan Acervo, and Juan Huejara (Casé) during a blackout caused by the terrorist attacks of the time.
Upon seeing him enter, they greeted him with amazement and affection: “I know you, Eduardo,” said Maruja and Acervo as they embraced him. It was the beginning of a connection he described as a “recognition of the soul.”

From then on, he joined Maruja Soler’s group, whom he called “the mother of ufology.” Along with her, Julio Dongo, and Casé, he went almost every night to the Las Salinas and Yaya beaches in Chilca, where they observed craft and spheres of light.

Daily Contacts with Luminous Spheres

The spheres of light, approximately a meter and a half in diameter, moved and stopped at only four meters away, without emitting any sound.
Camacho also recounts having seen a white craft hovering over the sea, witnessing multiple presences simultaneously.

One night, he decided to approach the craft alone. One of the spheres accompanied him in parallel. Upon reaching about 15 meters from the craft, a being descended, taking on the form of his friend Casé, but taller, upright, and luminous.
The being placed his right hand on Eduardo’s left shoulder and, pointing to the sphere, communicated telepathically:

“He has had the same problems as you, or worse problems than you, but he is waiting for you to be like them.”

Eduardo felt he received an avalanche of knowledge impossible to assimilate, describing it as “eating a 100‑meter hamburger in a single bite.”
His body began to vibrate and emit iridescent light from his forehead, while he perceived a total connection with the energy of the cosmos.

The Invitation to Depart

In a later experience, a woman named Teoti, who introduced herself as the “guardian of the seventh doorway of the Rosicrucians,” offered him to depart with them forever.
Camacho understood that accepting meant never returning. He decided to stay.

The next day, Maruja Soler, clearly upset, told him:

Idiot, idiot… you should have gone! There is a reason you stayed.

Eduardo interpreted his decision as an unconscious act or fear, but also as a sign that his mission had to continue here.

Context of the Phenomenon in Chilca

During the boom of the phenomenon (1983), Chilca became a laboratory of contact.
Camacho recalls that more than 120 tents were installed by groups of scientists, U.S. and USSR military personnel, and representatives of the Vatican, all interested in the sightings.
He even served as a guide for Russian and American researchers who observed spheres and craft from the beach.

The Russian scientists confessed to having experimented with electromagnetic pulses capable of sending and retrieving molecules at 4 to 7 times the speed of light, contradicting the theory of relativity.

Camacho also recounts teleportation events, in which he and other witnesses were displaced 30 to 50 meters instantly when approaching a being of light in human form.

Beliefs and Philosophy

Eduardo holds that Chilca is an energetic axis of the planet, a point of interdimensional entry and exit.
He asserts that 128 different civilizations have visited the area and that the spheres of light are part of a system of energy exchange between planes.

He also claims to have located the tomb of the god Catequil (Chachapoya culture) in Cajamarca, associating his discovery with the phenomenon of white and black lightning described by Modesto Montoya.

His philosophy, born of contact, emphasizes:

  • True knowledge is neither sold nor charged for.
  • Personal research and constant doubt are essential.
  • Human evolution must integrate the spiritual, the intellectual, and the human in balance.
