Julio Dongo

Lawyer | Witness of Peruvian Contactism

Julio Dongo is a fundamental figure in Peruvian ufology, recognized for his closeness to and accompaniment of the country’s main contactees. His testimony not only preserves extraordinary experiences but also the spiritual philosophy transmitted by the so‑called Elder Brothers or Apunians.

Relationship with the Great Peruvian Contactees

  • Juan Huejara (Kashi)
Dongo met Kashi around 1973 or 1974, both sharing the practice of Buddhism. He accompanied Kashi until his last days, witnessing his passing in January 2022. It was Kashi who first invited him to Chilca (Papa León XIII) in 1976.
Kashi entrusted him with the manuscript of his book “How to Manage to Know What an Apunian Knows.” Dongo, after consulting with Vlado Kapetanovic (Vitco Novi), insisted on its publication.

  • Vitco Novi (Vlado Kapetanovic)
A Yugoslav contactee and key author of Apunian knowledge. Dongo maintained deep ties with him and shared teachings about the beings of Apu.

  • Donato Cervantes (Contactee of Huaraz)
Julio Dongo sought him out, accompanied him, and kept up a friendship with him almost until the end of his life.

  • Maruja Soler and Juan Acervo
He frequented the home of Maruja Soler in Papa León XIII, a meeting place for contact groups.

Ufological Experiences in Chilca

Julio Dongo was part of the first contact groups in Chilca, in the late 1970s and early 1980s, alongside other pioneers like Eduardo Camacho. On Yaya Beach, they meditated, prayed for nature and world peace, seeking to raise their vibration for contact.

Significant Sighting (1976 or 1978)

  • Mothership in Cerro Yaya
A light emerged from behind the hill: an elongated, cigar‑shaped object, large and yellow, moving slowly.

  • Solid Light Phenomenon
After mentally asking for a sign, the craft responded with tube‑shaped light flashes that did not disperse like ordinary light.
At the third signal, the object stopped.

  • Confirmation of Contact
By telepathic communication, they were informed that the craft was crewed by Apunians, and that on board traveled Sai, Pedro, and Ivanca, who congratulated them for their positive intent.

In addition to sightings, Dongo witnessed phenomena at Papa León XIII, such as:

  • Bangs or footsteps in the house, similar to hammer blows or giant steps.
  • Lights crossing the area and illuminating it completely.

Philosophy and Message of the Apunians

Julio Dongo is devoted to transmitting the ethical and spiritual teaching of the Apunians:

  • They appear only to those who have a positive intention and a heart without fear.
  • The greatest enemy of the human being is selfishness. The only way out:
    “Do everything for others.”
  • Money, they claim, is one of the greatest misfortunes created by man, as it generates ambition and destruction.
  • The Apunians would be our elder brothers, some incarnated in historical figures such as Jesus or Daniel Alcides Carrión.
  • The final call: Be better or face self‑destruction.
