Captain Bardales Case

Sighting Official Report (MTP-2026-07-01)
We introduce the first case investigated by our MarteStudios Peru & Latam academy, conducted within the Scientific Research course under the direction of Prof. Commander Julio Chamorro.
This confidential educational report documents a civil aviation aerial sighting reported by the crew of a Boeing 737, providing key information that links this sighting with recent events happening in Bolivia.
Official Questionnaire Created by Our Academy
Our academy designed the following 12-question technical questionnaire for Captain Ernesto Bardales, aimed at gathering and expanding details on navigation, flight telemetry, and anomalous traffic behavior:
- What was the flight plan?
- Time and date of the sighting.
- What was the altitude, position, and speed of your aircraft?
- Which control sector/area were you operating in?
- Was an official report of the sighting filed?
- What heading/direction did the traffic have?
- What was the heading of your aircraft?
- Relative to your aircraft, what was the position and direction of the traffic?
- Can you map on Google Maps the position/direction of the sighting showing both your aircraft and the traffic, including distance calculations?
- Did your avionics experience any variation or interference during the sighting?
- On the route radio frequency, did you hear any comments regarding the traffic?
- Are you aware of other flight crews in your airline who have had sightings?
